1:1,200,000 scale 2nd Ed. single-sided, inset of Baghdad. This was a very difficult country to map accurately! Prior to their invasion, the Americans embargoed every map image of Iraq that they could find. Needless to say, Saddam Hussein and his followers weren't co-operative. This map is very good, but the events of the past three years have resulted in some changes that are not on this edition. ITMB are reluctant to include American or British military bases on a map designed for promoting travel. Also, newsworthy incidents are often forgotten in a relatively short time period. However, ITMB are keeping track of developments in Iraq, and hope to publish an updated version in 2008.
