Ideal for the weekend excursion trip, printed on glossy paper, contains information on campsites, walks and points of interest. Map on one side covering as far up as just past Muriwai and across into Henderson Valley and down to Laingolm. On the reverse is loads of information about each track in detail including distance and times (144 tracks are listed and described), and also a history of the area.

From bus parking area, off Pine Avenue, easy walk follows coast cliffs and rejoins Pine Avenue near park gate. Walk continues across road and follows easy grade to car parking area at the end of Pine Ave. 1.8KM 1 Hour 15 minutes.

As of close of business Friday 19th February we have relocated to the Hema Maps NZ building, Unit 2, 10 Cryers Rd, East Tamaki, AUCKLAND.

NEW LINZ TOPO MAPS

As many of you will now know, in September of last year Land Institute New Zealand (LINZ) released a full new series of updated 1:50,000 topographic maps, developed to be compatible with international mapping systems and modern navigational technologies such as GPS.

The difference between the old map series and the new Topo50 map series is equivalent to an approximate 200m change in position.

New Zealand's emergency services and search and rescue operators have adopted the new Topo50 maps and coordinates system, as a result, LINZ is encouraging New Zealanders who visit the outdoors and remote areas to update their maps so they're in line with what the emergency services are using – to make this easy for you Auckland Map Centre is now carrying the full Topo50 range!
